Horse Guards, Westminster, London, before 1914. Showing the east front of Horse Guards, Westminster, from Whitehall. Below, tourists in bowler hats mingle with the mounted Guardsmen. It was designed by William Kent, but the building was executed by John Vardy between 1750-60, and crowned with a clock tower.
