1924 Austin Seven, (c1924?). One of the first made, bought by EJ Vardon at Hawkhurst, Kent, and owned by Mr Rootes, the father of Lord Rootes. A simple, reliable affordable car, the Austin Seven was in many respects the British equivalent of Ford's Model T.
