A 1924 Trojan. Promoted with the slogan 'Can you afford to walk?' it was one of the few cars ever advertised in 'The Church Times'. The engine, which is housed under the floorboards, contains only seven moving parts, was extremely reliable and the car could climb anything on which its wheels could get a grip. The only drawback was its narrow solid tyres which could fall into tramlines.
