1923 Calcott 11.9hp car. Like many early car makers, Calcott had previously made bicycles. The small company became one of hundreds of car makers in the 1920s, producing cars for the mass market. The models ranged from light 10.5hp cars, to the 2.5 litre 16hp intended for the prosperous owner. 2,500 Calcotts were made before Singer acquired the company in 1926.
