1953 Chevrolet Corvette, (c1953?). The Chevrolet Corvette first appeared in 1953, and was designed to show that General Motors could compete in the sports car market with European manufacturers such as MG and Jaguar. All 1953 Corvettes were white with red interiors. The car is pictured on display at a motor show, possibly Paris.
