Battista Pininfarina, (c1955-c1960?). 'Pinin' Farina founded Carrozzeria Pinin Farina in 1930. This company was designed to build special car bodies for a number of select customers. They are associated with some of the most famous sports car designs, including the Ferrari Dino, Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider, Lancia Flaminia. Pininfarina is particularly associated with Italian cars, and Ferrari in particular, but also produced designs for General Motors, Jaguar, Peugeot and many others. In 1961, at the age of 68, Battista passed the company on to his son, Sergio.
