Baroness Raymonde Delaroche, French aviator, 1909. Baroness Delaroche (1886-1919) was the first woman to be granted a pilot's licence by the French Aero Club. On 3 November 1909 she flew a Voisin biplane 1,000 yards. From a postcard.
