Founded by King George III in 1768, the Royal Academy of Arts holds a unique and inspiring collection that spans 250 years of British art.
The RA‘s collection includes works by seminal artists such as Joshua Reynolds, Angelica Kauffman, John Constable, John Flaxman and Thomas Gainsborough.
Aside from exceptional paintings, the Collection includes thousands of influential historic volumes, monographs, books, prints, historic photographs and drawings from the Royal Academy of Arts Library. We are happy to share some highlights from the collection in this gallery.
