BBC Broadcasting House, London, 1930s. Broadcasting House, situated just north of Oxford Street, was designed by G Val Myer and opened in 1932. It contained 22 studios, including a concert hall, a hall for public debates and special studios for religious services, dance music, military music and vaudeville programmes.
